History of Rio Verde, Arizona

The first 18 holes of golf were opened in 1973, followed by a second course completed in 1982. Recently, a Community Church, the Community Center and the clubhouse were all remodeled and upgraded. In 1996 the irrigation system on both golf courses was upgraded followed by a turf conversion project in 1997 and 1998.
